What size system do I need?

The size of the system is dependent on what loads you are wanting to run from it. The more loads you want to run, the bigger your system will need to be. For this reason, we ask you to supply us with as much information as you can regarding what it is you are looking for, so that we may design your system tailored to your specific needs!

Why can the pricing change after a site inspection?

The pricing on our packages is a base price. Depending on the requirements of your home (in terms of where your DB board is situated, what electrical component requirements your home may have, etc), the cost of this may differ from what we have estimated. Pricing is subject to change based on the findings of your homes needs at the site inspection.

When can I expect a site inspection?

Once you have provided us with all the information needed, we will send you an estimated base quotation. If you are happy with the base quotation, we will schedule a site inspection with you at a suitable date and time.

How long does an installation take to reach completion?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the size of the system you are installing, our general installation period is between 2 - 4 days for a standard size system.

Question 6

What is the difference between a solar package and back-up package?

Accepted Answer

A solar package is inclusive of solar panels, and uses the energy from the sun to charge the batteries, as well as run the loads that you've chosen within your house - using the energy provided by the sun.

A back-up package only offers you backup power when you have no incoming power from the grid, and rely on batteries that charge from the grid.

Question 7

If I install a backup system, can I add panels at a later stage?

Yes. If you have installed an inverter and battery only system, you can still add solar panels at a later stage.
